The major fact that caught my attention was how drug dealing operated like its own economoy and how much money was being circulated between the drug lords, dealers, foot soldiers, etc. Even those in the drug gang, like any standard capitalist enterprise, must understand the principles of economics to maximize their profit. The fact that JT was able to get through to his “foot soldiers” and get them to keep accurate records of his sales was fascinating.
